Job description
Gain America's Early Careers program places new and recent graduates into entry-level QA / Test Engineer (Entry-Level) roles with leading employers across the Jersey City, NJ area. Own software quality from day one, learning automation alongside experienced QA engineers. This is a launchpad: you'll gain real production experience with mentorship and structured onboarding.
We welcome new graduates and students, including candidates on OPT, CPT, or STEM-OPT work authorization.
Work model: Hybrid / on-site · Jersey City, NJ
You'll work with: manual + automated testing, test cases, Selenium basics, Agile
What you'll do
- Write and execute test cases for web and API features
- Log and track defects and verify fixes
- Learn automation with Selenium or Playwright
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and release testing
What you bring
- A degree or coursework in CS, IT, or a related field
- Attention to detail and basic scripting curiosity
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle
- Strong communication and a quality mindset
