Job description
Gain America's Early Careers program places new and recent graduates into entry-level Associate Cloud / DevOps Engineer (New Grad) roles with leading employers across the Long Island, NY area. Learn to automate and operate cloud infrastructure alongside a senior platform team. This is a launchpad: you'll gain real production experience with mentorship and structured onboarding.
We welcome new graduates and students, including candidates on OPT, CPT, or STEM-OPT work authorization.
Work model: Hybrid / on-site · Long Island, NY
You'll work with: AWS or Azure fundamentals, Linux, scripting, CI/CD basics, Docker
What you'll do
- Assist with cloud provisioning and CI/CD pipelines
- Write basic automation scripts (Bash/Python)
- Support monitoring, deployments, and incident triage
- Learn Docker, Linux, and infrastructure-as-code
What you bring
- A degree or certification path in CS, IT, or cloud
- Familiarity with Linux and a scripting language
- Interest in AWS/Azure and automation
- A reliable, methodical approach to operations
