Job description
Gain America is recruiting a Data Engineer for contract and contract-to-hire engagements with our enterprise clients in the Jersey City, NJ market. Build the pipelines and warehouses that turn raw data into trusted, analytics-ready assets for the business.
Work model: Hybrid / on-site in the Jersey City, NJ area
Core stack: Python, SQL, Spark, Snowflake, dbt, Airflow, AWS/Azure data pipelines
What you'll do
- Design and operate batch and streaming data pipelines
- Model and maintain warehouse layers in Snowflake with dbt
- Orchestrate workflows with Airflow and monitor data quality
- Partner with analytics and ML teams on data availability and reliability
What you bring
- 4+ years in data engineering with strong Python and SQL
- Hands-on Spark, Snowflake, and dbt experience
- Workflow orchestration with Airflow or similar
- Cloud data platform experience on AWS or Azure
